I’d like a decent bluetooth speaker for out and about, like. I’m tempted to get a UE Boom 2, but having used a Bose Mini Soundlink recently and from reviews saying the UE isn’t doesn’t have as decent low end, I’m torn. I don’t really want to get the Bose, and it’s retailing a quite a bit more now but i don’t want a weak low end, after all, my bottom don’t quit.

The noises they make are the worst. Some guy actually wandered outside to shout at them the other day, not sure how that would help but there you go.

I read loads of things about how they don’t like it if humans are “around”, so if you actually go near them when they’re out and about at night they won’t like it and they’ll move on. Hopefully.

Something I’m slightly torn about: taking a week off work.

As a treat to myself I usually take a week off work for the first week of Wimbledon, and spend it lounging around in a deck chair drinking beer and watching tennis.

I’m torn in two ways about this. Firstly I’m wondering if I should take the second week off instead this year since the more interesting matches tend to happen then. I’m also torn because if I do take the week off then I’ll be playing catchup with my leave for the rest of the year and won’t be able to go on a two week holiday in September. We haven’t actually planned a holiday, but every year recently we’ve ended up booking some random place by the seaside for a week at short notice, and it would be nice to go on a proper holiday instead.
