I’ve never understood how Friday the 13th became a franchise and that it’s a household name.

It’s just… really shitly put together, boring, and lacking in any spirit. Never heard anyone defend it so I don’t get how it’s lasted through time.

Cheap to make so usually profitable (e.g. the ninth one only made $16 million but it only cost ÂŁ3 million)

I didnt not like it because it was boring or slow

Surprisingly looking forward to 21 Bridges. Looks like a film peak Michael Mann might have made and Chadwick Boseman and Stephan James are both great.
