Oh yeah, business would be happy as Larry, but these ‘business leaders’ would be very sad, and that’s a real shame. A real, real shame.

When you get to a particular point it’s about keeping score - if you’ve ever played a game and tried to climb higher on the high score table, that’s the exact mentality.

Difference is, in a game you’re not actively taking something away from everyone else - it’s an entirely artificial number.

Just looking at the stats from the last few GEs and realised that the “Theresa fought a shitty campaign, that’s how Labour made gains and they won’t make that mistake again” is fully bogus. Treeza actually increased the Tories’ vote share and raw number of votes over both Cameron’s 2015 and 2010 wins. You can point out in hindsight that lots of things were shit about the campaign, but the Tories big strength was in that election, as in most, that the media are fully onside. Brexit really drove people towards the Tories, it was Corbyn that blocked them. Surely people have hugely lost faith in the Tories by now and Johnson really can’t hope to do as well as last time, that was a surge and no way after 2 disastrous years will it surge again. Labour just need to try to get back most of their 2017 vote and fend off a potentially resurgent Lib Dems and we’re golden.

we gonna need photo ID at this election or what?

Finding it hard to accept that the counter argument is ‘but my highscore!!!’ (Which when your in your billions, that’s all it is, a load of numbers on screen, you can’t do anything extra with 2 billion that you can’t do with 1 billion)

Like the moving away thing is ridiculous, you have over a billion quid, you live here presumably because you quite like it (as y’know you have over a billion quid so you can live anywhere you like), someone suggest you give up some of the money that is literally no use to you at all, and you decide to go live somewhere that you don’t like as much, so that you can keep something that you will never ever ever use?

It’s mad

I’ll say it again - they’re dicks, and that’s all there is to it. Anybody who panders to their desires is not worthy of consideration. No policy should ever be made primarily for their benefit.

It might have been! Over on the left on a table?

Something about how there will be riots if we don’t leave

You were stood up by the wall but I think you then moved? Doubt anyone else would have that suave hairstyle

From the article they were supposed to be doing a motorway go-slow, lighting beacons, and not paying their council tax en masses as well as the ‘yuge’ rallies, unsure as to whether any of this has happened at all. Maybe they just postponed it for a few months

Lots of dyed heads in that room though! Wish I’d check on here before leaving, would have been cool to say hi

Really good rally I thought. Corbyn had a ton of energy and went in deep on the environment with some very firm ideas like including environmental regulations on foreign imports and a program to make all houses energy efficient. Feeling very fired up now :fist:
