Was having a proper read of the Labour manifesto last night and was actually quite moved by the whole thing (admittedly I’ve had D&V so was quite dehydrated). It’s all there; a genuine, thoughtful blueprint for lifting this godforsaken island out of its current malaise (to put it mildly). If it does all go to shit on December 13th then the rejection of the 2019 Labour party manifesto will stand as testament to the sheer bloody idiocy afoot in this country.
I’m putting my hopes in
surge of young people registering
tories piling up votes where they dont need them
tories being unable to even pretend to not be evil
labour having more coalition potential than the tories
genuinely good policies that I think may even turn some brexit heads
By all accounts the Tory manifesto is basically going to consist of two pages, one reading ‘NHS = good, Taxes = bad’ and the other ‘Get Brexit Done’ in all caps repeated 500 times. A majority of people in this country are going to vote for it over Labour’s. Dogshit country that does not deserve to be saved.
As I keep saying we have years of ‘I never knew the leopards would eat MY face!’ ahead of us.
