You (and anyone else) are always welcome to ask if you need Kermie.

Hahaha! Ahahaha! That Boris! Ahahah!

Honestly how do you fight this shit, we’re being gaslit by the nation’s leading source of news and there’s nothing we can do, I literally feel like I’m going mad, I can’t engage any more

Next time you feel this way, Kerm - just remember that the sentient haybale that even Aardman wouldn’t touch with a shitty pitchfork for the Shaun the Sheep sequel that’s running the country right now, almost certainly knows 1267380% less than us.

you could fight it by not reposting it

Labour MPs on twitter doing the job of Tory comms spreading the clip is very counter productive

Even happier than Bam’s Big Pic day?

Just imagine what it will mean for the theoretical space for your future! A total rejection of defining people by their financial worth. I could achieve anything

Even happier!

I think it’s important to allow yourself to hope whenever you can, teach yourself that hoping doesn’t make a bad outcome worse and only through hope can we imagine a better future. Rejecting hope is what has got us into this mess

Creeping towards hung parliament territory baby! :fire::fire_engine::sweat_smile:

Spads are tied to ministers they advise to - so if the minister quits / is fired, they go as well.

They all resign as a matter of procedure when Parliament is dissolved for an election. They’re political advisors appointed by the party, not civil servants, so it would basically defeat their purpose if they were bound by purdah rules.

oh god, politics is as much of a confusing mess for me as for anyone

it’s quite intentionally opaque from certain quarters too

I see

so how come the Graun posted it as if it were a scoop?

Dunno. Journalists don’t understand things? Clicks n shares?

all of the above I guess

Nice to see the gap closing for now, but still feel like bashing my head against a wall every time I see after almost a decade in power idiots in this country are still giving the Tories their highest poll ratings since Thatcher’s heyday
