Wishful thinking but I think Jo Swinson might be an absolute disaster of a campaigner. Their entire strategy relies on people being ridiculously naive - think they’ll tank the more they show their true colours.

She’s not good, and she’s being hampered further by tactics and soundbites.

Self describing as a “Girly swot” was smart when Johnson originally used it and just us Westminster nerds were paying attention, but it had a short life anyway and it sounds plain weird out of context - particularly from someone who claims they’re Britain’s next PM.

I expect their national bounce to unravel over the next few weeks as undecideds start to move back to Labour.
