I only got into NTS 2 weeks ago because of some chat on the 6Music thread.
When I’m in the mood for radio I stick NTS1 on. If that doesn’t tickle my fancy I put on NTS2. If that doesn’t float my boat I go for Soho Radio which is another very good internet station via an app.

New to listening to NTS, bought in to all the hype here, and this was my first foray earlier this morning, and it was great.
Absolutely everything linked in this thread so far appeals, and am enjoying both live shows at the moment and have used Shazam more times in the past half hour than I have any given day in history. I definitely see myself becoming a full time convert here if I can overcome the stress of the new release backlog which is what stopped me from listening to radio 6.
Listening live to the Early Bird Show and its an absolute delight. Anyone that plays Broadcast at 7 in the morning is alright by me
Broadcast must be the collective darlings of NTS - feel like they’re the one band I hear repeatedly. Not complaining about it, discovered a lot of new favourites as a result.
There was loads of Broadcast chat in the latest Clairo interview.

Been listening to the live stream instead of 6 for the last little while and generally very happy with my life choices. Amuses me greatly that the breakfast show runs from 9am-11am except on weekends when it’s 10am-12noon, and the collective hangover from carnival this week clearly lasted until at least Thursday.
I get annoyed that if you listen between 5am and 7am it’s mainly chilled out music. Doesn’t put me in the mood for going to work. I need something more upbeat at that time personally.

Great show today, always love their patter. Although the finger chat made me squeamish. The book recommendation, Evenings and Weekends, looks interesting so gonna buy that. Nabbed this one they played:

Yep. I like NTS but it’s got a definite sound and ultimately is a bit single track imo

Always dread it when Pam plays a song that I like but the NTS app doesn’t list it (this drives me nuts btw, it’s pretty much the main reason I pay for a subscription) and Shazam doesn’t know what it is. His French accent is always too intense to understand what he’s saying the name is. ‘Zat was the beue mon fer debleum moreur from zer latest EP ereurblizzim.’
Their session vids have been top notch so far. Kinda like the stuff P4K used to be great at, or Audiotree when they do ‘Far Out’

NTS are doing this thing where you can submit a mix to be played on the radio.
I have Apple Music. Is there a way I can make a mix via an app or do I need a load of DJ equipment??
Can I use the music from Apple Music or would I need to own the music?
