My favourite part of getting ready is the bit where I’ve finished the liquid eyeliner because I can finally relax!! Wbu?

I hate doing my hair. Its such a faff. Has anyone ever had a blow out?

Just visited my mum and dad after football and I’m on way home now.

I feel quite proud and emotional of something my mum told me.

My mum works on the checkouts for Tesco’s and always takes time with customers and has a loyal band of older customers who only goes through her till as she chats to them. She even gives her older customers Christmas cards.

But this week a younger girl in her twenties with mental health issues broke down in front of my mum, and said she hadnt eaten in days and bought stuff with her loose change.

Mum asked her to meet her after work as she was finishing up, and invited her round for dinner, which was accepted.

Mum and dad have always voted Labour, but sometimes they do say things without realising which are a little dodgy. But this really made my day.

Still unpacking. We’ve accumulated so much stuff over the years. I’ve concluded that the reason old folk hold onto unnecessarily large houses is because the thought of moving is too much to bear.

I like all of the hair, make up and outfit bit.

Don’t like it when I panic about wearing strong lipstick, wipe it off, put it back on etc. Over and over…

Might go and put a dress and makeup on just for fun in a bit. Especially if the kids keep watching the Grand Tour. :neutral_face::expressionless::tired_face:
