Bought ingredients for dinner. Gonna make that sexy prawn laksa soup for starters, beef rendang for mains, and Mrs CCB has made a lemon and blueberry tart for dessert. Gonna head to the beach on New Year’s Day.

friends are having a small house party instead of going out, so will be drinking a Big Bag Of Cans while playing quiz games on the PS4, and have the option to stay over (can be a ballache getting taxis back to my parents’ in the middle of nowhere, especially on busy nights). nae crowds. should be good.

always like the idea of NYE gigs and there’s a decent one in Belfast tonight but always put off by the fact that i’d usually end up having to go alone, which is fine any other night but too weird for NYE. missed Les Savy Fav doing one in Dublin a few years ago for that reason D:

i know, there was a great support lineup as well. :confused:

but felt weird about spending NYE on my own and spending about 5 hours of it travelling on a bus, while all my friends were in the local pub

worst was when my pal crashed his car and nearly rolled us down an embankment. we were both okay, but had to wait hours at the side of the road on a tow truck coming to get us.

went past that place every day for 3 years on the way to work and never realized it was an only fools an horses hotel :’( so upset.
