Oasis were actually decent though

Think it will just be Noel and Liam with a backing track, like those hilarious Ian Brown gigs (hilarious unless you paid for them, of course).

Would be hilarious if they did just because of how un-rock and roll it would be.

This is now the Norm Macdonald thread

No big surprise but they’ve just confirmed Dickie Ashcroft as UK/Ireland support

Found the Some Might Say CD single in the chazza for 25p today. Good b-sides on it.

All 3 better than the actual single imho

Headshrinker’s on that isn’t it? Very underrated imo.

Yeah they should have done more straight up bangers like that.

Hoping there will be a few newer/breaking bands on the bill too. If not it will annoy me more than the ticket debacle. Someone like Wunderhorse would play well to their crowd and the platform would be worth loads.

Ashcroft
Blossoms
Kasabian

I would guess.

Write a couple more of these babies noel

Been wondering what a cultured Oasis enjoyer line up would be for this. Reckon this would be somewhat feasible in an alternate reality:

Oasis
Primal Scream
Ride
The La’s
St Ettiene

Instead it’ll be Ashcroft, Blossoms and The fookin’ Courteeners obviously.

Liam keeps saying cast, so it’ll be cast as well

I’m amazed Ocean Colour Scene haven’t been mentioned. Seemed like every time I saw Oasis back in the day I had to stand through OCS.

I suppose more might get announced, Primal Scream would make a lot of sense seeing as they have a new album coming out and have recent connections through management (as well as the older Creation connection).
