We did The Outsiders at Standard Grade, and my English teacher obsessed over the film and promised she’d show us it after we’d finished studying the book. “It’s so good, and it’s directed by Martin Scorcese, his work is amazing”, she’d tell us over and over again. When the day finally came she started the video & up comes “Directed by Francis Ford Coppola”. My English teacher frowned and said “Oh. Well, they’re both good directors.” Save for the fact that one of the characters is called Ponyboy, this is all I remember about The Outsiders.

Loved this book, we read it in year 9 and watched the film. Never fancied anyone from films or tv ever apart from some of the power rangers until dallas from the outsiders :heart_eyes:

Also literally have just accessed my old twitter and have been reading my old tweets, which contain a lot of swearing and hashtags and I am disgusted but just saw this one
