Razor-sharp political awareness here. These people are completely unembarrassable when it comes to Northern Ireland.

When the Maybot took over a couple of years ago there was an interview in one of the papers with her and her husband in their front room and they had about eleven lamps.

Eleven fucking lamps.

I can no longer tell what’s real and what’s satire.

Ha, I saw the first reply was asking if this was a joke and she said it wasn’t. Colonialism and capital punishment all fits the Tory mindset, they’ll be nostalgic for polio next

Overall, we found 95 clear cut examples of misleading or inaccurate reporting on mainstream television and online news platforms, with a quarter of the total sample containing at least one such example. The problem was especially pronounced on television – which reaches far wider audiences by comparison – where two thirds of the news segments on television contained at least one reporting error or substantive distortion.

tbf if there’s one word you can’t use to describe Theresa May it’s “bright”

The Tories are done and Corbyn’s going to collect the Oscar for best original screenplay.

Look forward to the EU responding in kind

Nah, it’s not about that though is it. It’s to stop them foreigns coming here and taking jobs off me, not about us brits goin over there and giving them our tourist money which they badly need.

*Edit - sorry man, shit like this just giving me the rage so can’t help but resort to sarcasm.

Fair play, it is pretty maddening it’s also pretty depressing that Labour have signed up for this as well.

I’m not that surprised. If there’s the one area of EU stuff where they have to tread very very carefully, it’s FoM.

Just in case this wasn’t clear I’m not actually looking forward to this. It’s actually pretty much exactly what I didn’t want to happen.

I know, I wish they’d take a stronger stance but very clearly on the fence for fear of losing voters aren’t they?

Some talk of pushing a people’s vote type thing last week wasn’t there? Not that that would fix everything.

Edited to that to clarify cos I realised I’d misreplied to what you’d said - I’m not really surprised they’ve signed up to it as well.

Ah I just got what this was a reference to, I’m still waking up this morning.

I actually do think Labour could be a bit more forthright in this area not least in setting out what the existing FoM guidelines actually mean.
