Ready Or Not is great fun. I think Samara Weaving is gonna be a big star. Andie McDowell is cracking in it too
Itâs pretty great all the way through but I thought the end was spectacular, I was laughing so hard.
âWell, shit.â
Sort of amused by this being the third attempt in ten years to launch A New Terminator Trilogy, despite there being pretty scant evidence that, outside a cohort of men of a certain age, anyone really wants that.
Still, Iâve more hope for this than the other attempts. And it canât be as bad as Genisys, can it.
Genisys made $446 million despite everyone hating it, and though the budget was pretty high, I assume it made money. But it does feel like they should just give up by now
Didnât realise it was that high - probably just about turned a profit then, but not enough to risk a sequel. I stand corrected!
Watched Lost In Translation for the first time since opening week last night. I was sniffy about it all those years ago but⌠i mean itâs amazing. I could go back and slap myself.
Bill Murray was robbed (of an Oscar)!
Oh yeah, also Dolemite is my Name on 25th October on Netflix. Sounds like Eddie Murphyâs first decent film since Bowfinger.
This is great news for all those Mubi usersâŚ
Ah, awesome. Quite liked the look of Zombi Child.
I was really excited about The Last Black Man in San Francisco but it was kind of a let down. Great to look at, some brilliant cameos (Jello Biafra on a Segway, Daewon Song skateboarding) but felt a bit all over the shop.
This is good. MUBI
Although annoyingly I bought a ticket to see Zombi Child which probably would have gone elsewhere if I knew I could watch it home a week laterâŚ
havenât watched this trailer yet but colour me intrigued
