I have one workmate which I can be weird around, but nothing otherwise.

Yesterday morning when he came in, he greeted me silently with that slight flick of your head upwards, and I did the same. Then he did the same again, and so did I. Then for about a minute or so we just kept doing that in silence before he walked off for a coffee.

On the inside I was smiling, but on the outside I had an angry face.

Feel like my personal bants™ is very much based around bigging up my shortcomings and failures for larfs, so it’s kind of hard to ever get too “me” with people who give me money to display basic levels of human competence when being my true self could possibly mean telling them about the time when I had a slow day at a previous job and was working at two monitors, so decided to artistically recreate the first monitor in MS Paint on the second monitor, which took far longer than one could reasonably justify to either oneself or to a workplace tribunal

By the time I’d discovered it someone had already stepped in it and walked it through the hall, so i think the evidence is contaminated

i said yes but she doesnt work in my dept any more. actually we were at a gig the other day and some guy came up to us and asked if we were a couple, and we said no but we do have a son in his 20s (the graduate kid who started when we still worked together who we raised as our own). the guy looked a bit confused and we were like what we could have. then we did the maths and realised if hes 21 then i would have been 13 and she would have been 11 and we were a bit :grimacing: and the guy had left us alone by then anyway
