someone sent an e-mail about it to the whole office today :man_facepalming:t3:

All three of the Scottish unionist parties have exclusively campaigned on not wanting another referendum. Almost no other policies between them. Find it odd to focus on the Tories and Nats only.

I probably would’ve been tempted to vote Labour/Corbyn if it hadn’t implied support for Kezia Dugdale and her complete lack of ideas.

i’m not reading all that, what’s her point?

Yeah, only for a brief moment, but then it’s a great big cross next to them, no way I actually want the Tories getting in!

this depends entirely on the constituency and the candidate, wish people would stop wheeling it out as a blanket fact. was chatting to someone yesterday who wrote a whole article saying that exact thing and even she quickly agreed that the SNP guy who currently holds my seat is pretty shite and the labour one is ok and the tories don’t have the faintest whiff of a chance (the SNP are gonna hold it anyway so might as well throw in my tiny contribution to the labour vote share)(not sure i would be able to if it was one of the terrible blairite fannies tho)

really nervous that my mum’s partner is gonna vote tory (he has previous) and i literally won’t be able to be in the same room as him anymore

guys, how about we make this easy for ourselves and as of tomorrow just activate Plan B - namely :-

then we can all be like “bloody good result last night, right chaps?!”

women will have to have a separate forum though and there’ll be lots of golf wear in that selfie thread.

Last time around I saw a bunch of guys in suits and tuxedos glugging champagne from the bottle at about 4 in the morning outside some nightclub
Easily the most irking image I’ve ever witnessed

Wrong thread moron

I understand that - it’s true in my constituency at least - but I feel like Scottish Labour have no real plan to win back any votes. The Scottish Labour leaflet I got through the door this election had literally no policies apart from ‘no referendum’ (which, incidentally, is the same as the Conservatives!!!). I’m not convinced that a seat can be a ‘safe’ SNP seat? The swing to SNP was 2 years ago, lots of people don’t like Nicola Sturgeon, Scottish Labour aren’t winning back any votes any time soon, and realistically, the only alternative is the Tories.

the thread is a total mess about why we shouldn’t leave the EU and therefore everyone who knows someone who’s had cancer (?) should vote Lib Dem

Maybe all the tories are just pretending to be tories to make life easier #makeuthink

If the Conservatives said they’d cancel Brexit, would you vote for them (poll anonymous for obvious reasons):

  • Yes
  • No

Scottish Labour aren’t going to win (m)any seats for Labour, sorry. I voted against a fascist government which is more likely than a socialist one at this point.

alright Theo, de-anonymize the poll, we’ve nabbed the rotters.

Labour with Brexit would still be much less moronic heartless cunts than Tories without any Brexit whatsoever

I feel they’d still be fairly moronic all things considered.
