I think this was part of my problem with AMSP. Granted, one could probably argue that an Electioneering-like track on that album would’ve been really out of place, but at the same time, I find the album such a slog in terms of pacing. By about 3/4 of the way through, I just don’t feel like listening to the album anymore even as I don’t particularly dislike any of the tracks.

I’m a bit aghast at how Electioneering is really this controversial though.

Yeah spot on about A Moon Shaped Pool, there’s no dynamic to it really. That said, I felt much the same way about Kid A when I first heard it, but I think it shows up more with AMSP because these are songs presented as such.
