I thought it was like 3% or something

Because it tastes like fizzy water?

Can you try the regular SATA connections on the drive itself by plugging it into the motherboard of a desktop computer/server sans caddy?

Does the drive spin up at all?

It’s a bit strange I’ve not heard of a drive drawing enough power via the “regular” method but not via a caddy, I presume it’s worked before so might be worth S.M.A.R.T testing it just in case.

Oh sorry, not sure. I mean I would stick it in a desktop if you can and see what happens. I’ve certainly had a caddy die ahead of a hard drive but odd if it’s just the one drive doing it.

ok i’ll try that

might as well get used to @wewerewerewolvesonce being the new tech guy seeing as you’re gonna be on australia time. arise theo 2.0!

I got tattooed, ate at the new vegan cafe in Southampton and had a sandwich that has entered my all time sandwich top five and bought the new Mogwai record.

Tonight I’m going to drink gin and listen to Mogwai.

Where’s that?

Cafe Thrive - the tempeh Reuben is banging.

Thanks again.

I’ve just taken stock and it looks like I’ve somehow still got 3 left. If anyone else wants one, now’s the time…

Oh sorry, by the time I got here you’d already done what I suggested. You caddy is maybe faulty then? You HDD may be on the way out so I’d back it up now, tbh
