Can’t be that bad. I’ve eaten Durian, that smells like bin juice and dirty knickers but tastes a bit like Crème Brûlée. Any fruit that can be turned into a jam is a good fruit. Made some amazing jam with aronia berries that are basically inedible raw.

I guess that’s why it went out of popularity…I could not really even look at one let alone touch it…the word eat has no connection in my head with a medlar…cant be arsed… :innocent:

Jaggery’s seem to have as much for them and as much against them but this fruit sounds and looks better…
