Isn’t the point that they’re in a NY apartment watching an iconic show about people mostly hanging out in a NY apartment? Obviously loads of places will have people watching incredibly {place}-centric shows in them but I feel grudging like I can allow this one as only in NY because of the specific Seinfeld reference.
I am absolutely vibrating with anticipation at a Coronation street version of this
