found out last week that a team i’ve just started working with has, for barcode testing purposes, an unopened bottle of coke that expired in 2009 
the bottle is all shrivelled up. why didn’t they use an empty bottle? i’m worried it’s going to dramatically implode and spray rancid semi-evaporated coke everywhere but i don’t want to touch it.
they also have a 2007 box of celebrations but had the sense to consume the contents of that (hopefully while still in date) before retaining the box
