Is it hot? I hadn’t noticed

This weather makes me sing “feeling hot hot hot” more, which in turn makes booties wiggle, which adds to the noise / vibration levels

i’ve noticed people mow their lawns more when it’s hot

That’s a really good observation and you’re absolutely right

Open windows offer less resistance to sound than closed ones.

All the little bugs and animals are out in force contributing to it too, let alone the people milling about.

Aircraft noise can be much louder in certain weather conditions too.

Less traffic noise was also nice, I liked that. Still not much in the way of aircraft noise here because losing FlyBe basically killed our local airport, but it’s been nice that it’s been quieter.
