I once collected some WWE stickers, i’m guessing around 1993ish. Needed one sticker. There was no internet then, not properly anyway. There was always a form in the middle or back that you could send off for at the end. I don’t know how much it costs, but i was a kid. Ol’ Ma Bugduv sent off for the one sticker and it took fucking ages to arrive, then one morning it landed and obviously i was pretty excited, but alas i’d accidentally stuck the Irwin R Shyster sticker on his stablemate Ted DiBiase and had ordered the wrong one. It was probably the worst day of my life.

I think I also collected some WWF stickers at some point around then. Absolutely no chance I completed the set but since I only knew who people like Shawn Michaels were it was a voyage of discovery filled with exotic delights such as Aldo Montoya and Man Mountain Rock

I had a WWF album, made by Merlin stickers. Still have a Razor Ramon sticker from it that I’m waiting to stick on a guitar.

I’m doing the online one instead, I completed 2012, 2014 and 2016 and it is a huge waste of money. I can’t let myself do it again.

This summer’s album features stickers of 480 players spread across the 24 teams in France, although some 17 per cent of those featured will not be playing at this summer’s tournament.

i’d love to see some stats on players who weren’t in the albums but then did score at the tournaments

@RatKingCole, I don’t think it cost me this much, but it wasn’t cheap. A couple of the big supermarkets in town have regular lunchtime swap shops in the run up to the tournament, so that saved me a bit. Absolutely nothing wrong with a grown man hanging out with schoolkids and OAPs to pore over pictures of prime flesh!

I’m just about to head out and buy an album. No one really collects them here, I was trying to persuade some 5th graders to start, but they weren’t having it. They only collect cards!

I’ll be relying on https://www.laststicker.com/ to complete the collection without spending a fortune. I might just buy a massive box off ebay to avoid having to go to walmart.

With the exception of Phil Jones, the England squad looks solid. I saw the album was $20 online, got it for $2 at the chemist! Got dos Santos free

Have opened 10 packs, already got about nine swaps. Bit ominous.
