I have to say, I’m finding the adverts pretty annoying and wish it was on the BBC. Not paying for YouTube premium.

welcome feedback/suggestions for these threads btw :+1:

An ex-team mate of mine is going in the PR1 sculls this morning. He was fifth in Tokyo and is aiming for a podium finish this time around

He’s in heat 2. In Tokyo he ended up in the loaded heat and had to go through the repercharge, meaning he had an extra race and a day’s less rest for the final. If he can get straight through to the final, he’s in with a good shout of a medal

The winner of heat 1 (two-time paralympic champion, current world champion and world record holder) has just set a paralympic record in his heat.

He just won his heat and set a new paralympic record! Just one second outside of the world record!

.99 of a second in it with the rowing

Just noticed that the taekwondo is taking place at the Grand Palais - as it was for the Olympics - but they don’t have the athletes descend the grand staircase at the start of each match.

Seems fair.

I can see why they might not

AUS v FRA in the rugby is very exciting. If the Australians lose this they’re out of the tournament. Currently all level.

USA aren’t very good at Paralympics
