Was watching with my dad last night and he was like “it’s great to see lots of British medals tbh after all the sporting failures over the years”
Wtf is he on about, GB finished 2nd in the last Paras too?? Why do Brits all think that Britain’s bad at sport when it’s really successful. Weird country no offence. Love my dad though

These games have been so much fun and there’s the small matter of Team GB winning 18(!) gold medals in the last two days. I wish more people were watching it.

CAN v NED in the basketball quarterfinals. Dutch ahead by 1 pt after the first quarter.
have struggled to watch much of this at all because I just can’t deal with the adverts being on at weird times and only have a single laptop screen that I’m working on at the same time
