Not seen much chat about this record, but it’s mega - and would have thought DIS catnip. Can’t get enough of it.
Loved the album he had out in 2021 too. And never really thought this sound would be my kind of thing.

New album is ace. More expansive than the howl of To See The Next Part Of The Dream, but still retains some of the gauzy sludgey gaze moments. We Shine At Night is awesome.
Excited to learn about the Mydreamfever record and the split Parannoul EP from last year too!

The P4k review calls out M83 which is a good shout I noticed anyway before reading

I bought the last one and never really got into it, this one is awesome though, I do not see the M83 comparison, i get a much more swampy distortion vibe but yeah first really stunning album of this year imo

Fair bit of it reminds me of the direction Sigur Ros were going in around the time of Með suð í eyrum við spilum endalaust or something. Enjoyed it though.
