The only thing I can think of is that these puddles are actually tiny, uncharted seas. Hence they never dry out like the sea never dries out.

Hmm, that doesn’t sound right but it’s the only explanation I’ve seen so I’ll have to take it.

You can’t see it but if you carry on under the bridge it’s wet and slippery just there all year round

for places that are wet all year not many of these photos show a place that is wet

Is this photo meant to represent the whole of Scotland, as in the whole place is just saturated?
