Did it look ok? If you get a chance please let me know if it looked clear, I struggled a lot trying not to lose quality but edit it on my phone, it’s too hard on the PC  so its be good to know

Watched yesterday, and all looked clear! As others said, really relaxing to watch! It’s oddly soothing just watching other people working through processes.

Ty!!

I was inspired to try making one myself but it turns out my plant didn’t actually need repotting, so I stopped instead of spending time filming myself kill a plant

Your set up looks so nice! What do you use to film?

My bedside table! It’d be a bit cramped if you had to do too much on it cause it’s only small.

I made another one! Still learning how to edit and film properly but it’ll do

Aw thank you, they are quite easy to use I think! More forgiving than other types of paints

never really used paint, I think the fear of not being able to correct mistakes puts me off, but maybe if you just keep it simple and quick then it avoids that problem

Definitely, when I overthink it I get frustrated, but something quick like that is easier and more satisfying

Also if you have any feedback I’d appreciate it, good or bad, I want to keep trying and stop being the person with all the gear and no idea

This is lovely

Ty wr

I love this thread.

Back in December or something I shared a crowdfunder for my new film festival which is definitely my passion project and a few of you very generously donated to that  Thought I’d pop in this thread to say that we are now open for submissions for the first time ever. The festival won’t be til next year because of the pandemic, but 1) we have lots of time to watch films now and 2) lots of people are dying to share their films with someone, so we decided to start looking now.

If you know someone who might be interested in submitting their work to a feminist film festival, you’re more than welcome to share the link. Looking for submissions from all over the world – and only yesterday, on our first day, we got submissions from Scandinavia, Switzerland, Israel, Namibia, to name a few. Very, very exciting!

Anyway here’s the submissions link with rules & more info, again just in case it might be of interest to anyone.
