Quite want this mug

Is the bottom bit for biscuits or a candle?

Biscuits are recommended but I reckon it wouldn’t hurt to stick a candle in there. Finally tea lights can live up to their name.

I assumed it was an easier way to get the bag out

Don’t bring your wife into this.

Wouldn’t dream of it; I’m not married

i enjoyed this post

new Tool album

would like some guitar hooks for my wall as well but i’m not sure how lame those are

This industrial pencil sharpener my dad had from work. I didn’t know where it was or if he still had it or not. It turned up at the back of a cupboard recently, and so now it’s mine.

Has h_y_g’s buyer’s remorse thread taught you nothing?

I thought your game wasn’t a trading card one, so how come you needed to buy this one?

I didn’t, I won it. It’s an alternate/full bleed art version of a card I already have: https://netrunnerdb.com/card_image/08025.png

This is the kind of thing they have as tournament prizes. You can’t buy them (well, people might sell theirs on).

tl;dr it’s nerd bling

Think there are some damp issues with it. Can’t remember. Please don’t blame me if you die.

Also, those pencils are pathetic objects of desire for people who draw in ink. Luckily you can make all of your dreams come true and get two of them for a fiver.

I think that we had those exact pencil sharpeners in our junior school. They were attached to the front of the teacher’s desk (no idea why we had to go to the teacher’s desk to sharpen our pencils).

Yeah it’s got a bit at the bottom you can attach a clamp with.

My dad was a building surveyor, and he’s also got a box of dried up Rapidograph pens in a cupboard which he’s convinced he might use again some day. My dad used to spend a lot of time swearing at them in the 80s because they blocked up if you looked at them, and there were loads of tricks like putting them in boiling water and hitting them against tables to get them working again (or repeatedly patiently taking them apart, cleaning them with alcohol and then putting them back together). I think they dramatically improved the ink at some point.
