This made me laugh for some reason.

As long as it’s fingering or a hand job I’m ok wit it. No kissing pls.

(I have no problem with it)

Feel like a D’Angelo gig is one of the only places where PDAs are something of an inevitability. Reckon there was at least 450 pregnancies as a direct result of the Hammersmith show last year.

I’m always smooching the heck out of my wife, everywhere. ESPECIALLY in supermarkets when we make exceptional choices about gluttony.

Exactly man!

(I mean I am pretty much like this - the first scenario meo talks about sounds really irritating though tbf. Also have friends who do social media pdas to an obscene level - like, I’m happy for them but they use their own hashtag and stuff.)

Nah, it encroaches on others personal space

How?

I mean yeah, don’t go porno, but the a for ‘affection’ is a key word for me here. Sure that first example sounds nauseating, but in general people here are talking about more lustful stuff or youthful ott behaviour.

I’m not going to not give my partner a kiss and cuddle in public if we’re enjoying each other’s company, saying hello or saying goodbye, because it’s no one else’s business?

Because it’s happening in your view?

Proximity

The later is fine, wouldn’t even notice it so am only conscious of the former

How wide does your own personal space expand?

About one metre

Brilliant.

I think they’re lovely, really heartwarming and bring joy to the world.

Plus that peck peck peck thing is totally something mrs_ravens and I do

Why? If people are in close proximity and their personal space overlaps you would expect people to not act in a way that might make others uncomfortable

Yeah I do agree. I was just thinking about this as it applies to meow’s situation (when they’re just in the same bar), in which case, I’d think you were being precious. But opposite you on some train seats is a bit much, if your knees bang together, you’d practically be joining in.

Your mate sounds really creepy.

They were next to me at the bar, directly to the left of where I was looking at my boyfriend’s face (we were at the corner of the bar).
His elbow touched my boyfriends elbow several times. I’d say that was close enough to find it annoying.

Also it was a quiet and smallish cocktail bar.

I feel bad for you, son
