I had a couple of pen pals which were short lived and I don’t remember much about.
One thing I do remember, was playing “Play By Mail Football”, and putting a number of my players up for sale. My mum wasn’t overly impressed with the phone calls I received from other managers offering money for my players. I think I was 11 or 12.

Still do, and also do parcel swaps with people- I’ve got some people I’ve been writing to on and off for 15 years or so. We have each other on social media, but still send stuff in the post.

Every time I travel anywhere abroad I send loads of postcards too. Also, doing the zine thing means that you end up swapping by post a lot. Or people who’ve read yours and enjoyed it send you a letter or postcard.

Every now and then I do Postcrossing. You get a randomly drawn person in another country to send a postcard to, and every time someone logs a postcard from you on the site, your address goes back in the draw to get a card from someone else. I’ve had cards from loads of different countries.
