People who are really sound

Not famous people or your mates. Just people who you know who are really sound.

There’s a lad called Mark that I know through the ol’ Countdown and he’s not a mate as such but he’s really sound. Supports Stockport and keeps an eye out for the Tonbridge scores, always messages me when we win or wishes us luck in the FA Cup/Trophy and says he hopes it’s a Stockport v Tonbridge final. Shite at Countdown but has a great sense of humour about it and is really helpful with events. Really sound, got a lot of time and respect for the guy.

Tell me about other really sound people. I think it will lift our moods to think about nice things like this.

An English teacher in my department is remarkably sound. Can only be a few years off retirement but still very chipper and positive even when the rest of us are rather crushed. Always volunteers to do stuff even when it’s an IT job that he’s patently unsuited for.
