Just remembered the the time he said he was at a party with Sara Cox in Manchester but her Twitter said she was recording a session at Maida Vale.

Not quite throwing a fridge over the Burj Khalifa and catching it with his teeth, but another measure of how much of a pinnochio he was.

Maybe not in the general public, but it seems like you can’t even write out the word Clapton without someone immediately following it with “he’s racist tho.”

Would be interested in some sort of follow up though. Seems like a very odd chapter for a musician heavily into black artists, who has dated black women, and has since worked with black musicians.
