I basically shave as follows:

warm water, cleanse and gentle exfoliate to open pores and remove dead skin before,

use a cream/whipped cream rather than foam as it’s a bit more moisturising to actually shave,

then rinse with cold water and moisturise - I use a very light moisturiser because even though my skin is a little on the dry side, I’m like you in that I hate feeling greasy or whatever while it soaks in.

I wish.

I mean more one of those cream dealies that are designed tyo whip up in to a foam/lather. Thicker than the foaming stuff so keeps your skin more moisturised.

Ooooh. Y’know I’ve always wanted a PROPER shave. barbers, cut throat razor, his little bristly brush and a pot of that stuff. Sounds like heaven. Shame it lasts like two days tops.

You can normally go somewhere that does a nice luxury one with a haircut, for still about £40ish.

There are some REALLY nice places that do them with massages etc (like the mens salon in the basement of liberties) as well.

Just seeing if my usual place does it, probably, it’s pretty swish. ~googling~

Get a room, guys.

One possible option is to use a tube of Veet on your face? I think it would be easier for everyone if we all did this.

Not even thinly veiled jealousy there Theo.

Hey, you guys aren’t “I use the same type of razor my mum used to do her armpits with int he 60s” hipsters, so I’m good with that

Got an electric razor, so much handier! Enjoying using it all the time
