Can we cancel Christmas while we’re at it? Ruins the whole winter season as everyone goes too heavy at the beginning and then spends January and February complaining about their comedown…

You can still do Hogmanay but it’s just a piss up now
Move Christmas to 21st Jan, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and Boxing Day all bank hols. Winter Solstice gets its own Bank Hol, traditional dinner of Big Curry gets implemented. New Year stays as it is.
Early May Bank Holiday gets shunted to the Friday before Late May Bank Holiday.
31st Oct and 1st Nov get made bank hols for Hallowe’en, but there’s a large reeducation programme rolled to the straight community to make them stop getting it so badly wrongm

We should also time the revolution for a time that would be good for a bank holiday, because you know we’ll be implementing one on honour of it (I should really say public holiday, there won’t be banks anymore), summer solstice feels like a good candidate.
