Haha no, I know. I was kidding!! And it was totally fine. I hate the fact I have a phobia of spiders because I think they’re great! I just can’t seem to stop sweating and freaking out when I’m near them. Haha!!

Not lolworthy at all! There are so many phobias and I wouldn’t laugh at them.
An ATD’s GF has a phobia of cutlery scraping against plates so my ATD has to cut her food for her before she eats. Sounds like a silly thing but I’ve seen her react really badly to it and I know how much of an issue it is for her.
Yeah, I can’t imagine That’s awful. I especially feel bad for people with bird phobias!

i wouldn’t say I have a phobia of it as i’m still able to go on boats/watch it on the telly, but the sea really freaks me out. hate seeing images of submarines / whales underwater especially.

Yes and no.
A phobia occurs when fear is taken to an extreme, like, in the case of Acrophobia, the climbing of a ladder or standing on a table. But anyone in the right mind standing on top of a very tall building would be scared of falling off.

But people who are scared of heights aren’t all scared of falling off things. My fear of heights definitely has a bit of “Call of the void” mixed in there.
