Well into the first half of the album now. Hoping for the second half to click into place. Not blown away by the last track as many seem to be. Have only listened on headphones though, maybe the big ending is better on speakers? Thought it sounded muddy and a bit limp when I heard it yesterday.

To me it feels like listening to it on headphones is like listening to it slightly unfinished - once you let it travel through the air it’s got lovely space and dynamics

I love Halloween, it’s got a subtle groove in the verses even if they’re mostly made by palm mutes. Knowing it’s partly about the murders at the Dodgers stadium really adds to it too, find the ghostly effects very digital ash style as well. Way she sings ‘if they woke you up somebody better be dying’ kills me.
