I enjoy the clear and specific nature of this plate design.
This leaves so many unanswered questions.
We don’t quite get to that level in the UK, but I wonder if most folk are aware that there is a sort of regional system.
And in getting that link I, inevitably, got drawn into (re-)reading all about the historical formats.
I learned that green plates became a thing at the end of last year, though. So there’s that.
Yeah I know ours are and have always had some regional aspect but nothing as pure and clear as the Irish system
