My entire vocabulary comes from Mean Girls, or Hot Fuzz, or Star Wars, or Ru Paul’s Drag Race, or The Simpsons, or The Big Lebowski.

But I’ve most recently employed “Hello sweet pants!” from Friends.

I feel like I got the exclamation “nadgers” from Rik Mayall

In common with most of DiS, I speak mostly in Simpsons, Father Ted, Day Today and Fast Show quotes. But of those, I prefer a Day Today quote if at all possible.

Maria!
(For an hour)
In 1979, no-one died.
Shit! Did you see that?
Even if you were twice as ugly a you are, which is very ugly indeed.
And obviously, all Peter O’Hanraha’hanrahan - Ich nichten lichten, Peter you’ve lost the news, and any time someone asks “What’s that?”, the answer in a Peter voice is “a cobweb”.

Quite like using the 'he was the biggest twat line from the end of this sketch directly after some drunk tool speaks to me and pals for too long in a smoking area

“welp… see ya later”

Years ago, before I’d seen the film, I asked a hungover housemate if they wanted something from the corner shop. They got really confused when I actually brought them back a cornetto.

Yes! I use “you’ve added nothing”, from The Day Today all the time.

From radio 1 not tv/film but “SOMEONE’S doing well”. Can’t stop.

Also, most of Pitch Perfect.

I often like saying “eskood beef!” instead of “excuse me”. I’m sure people don’t understand why I do it, but no-one seems confused about it.

“Making it worse? How can it be worse? Jehovah, Jehovah!” Or just “Jehovah man, Jehovah” to reference the same concept.

I think I’ve often sounded rude or ungrateful when quoting “that’s a pathetic amount of money!” at people unaware of TDT
