hate it when people say ‘oh you must not be cooking it properly’ - i’ve had it cooked by master aubergine chefs, and its still a bit shite.

Basically have to have music on at all times.
I am considerate of other people though so make sure to set up our picnic spot as far away from them as possible and only play the music at a lowish volume

Love picnics, having one today with my parents. My daughter’s beyond excited at seeing her grandparents for the first time in 6 months, and only slightly less excited at the Easter tart we’re bringing

I would like to think acoustic in the park could be nice, but only in a passive/non-attention grabbing/nice, idle-but-competent fingerpicking in the background kind of way

or like Kurt Vile, or maybe slapdash trying to play requests for fun

Good houmous has enough flavours on its own, the chilli would ruin that.

I get it from the small Saino’s down the road

it is quite nice imho, and I like it on sandwiches

however, my favourite hummus experiences have been getting the train to the Peaks and scooping nice hummus with chunks of bread with my friends

They definitely need to make sure they’re in tune before entering the park. Send someone round with an electric tuner to keep everyone in check.

Tbh, I always buy my houmous. The local Greek deli is my current favourite. Making your own isn’t worth the effort.

As someone who makes their own bread and hummus: it takes a little while but it’s fun so I don’t mind doing it.
