Interesting, don’t think I’ve ever seen info on what they pay per review etc.
the Sunday review today is one of the greatest albums ever made
Absolute cracker of an album. Would be pretty high up my best of the 90s list
I mean, I like this album, but neither me nor anyone else on the planet likes it quite as much as they do
Sounds a bit like the album before it doesn’t it
Wait a minute. Where’s me junta
almost always
Someone has compiled a full list for 2010 and 2009
I wonder if they realised before or after that review that their Marcel Duchamp powers were completely gone
Fetch the Bolt Cutters is a great album (not the best of 2020 or even in Fiona Apple’s discography but that’s another story), people here are acting like it’s the 2020s equivalent of Echoes by The Rapture
I think we’re more joking about Pitchfork’s continued campaign two years later to make it an “all-time classic”. I reckon once they do another of those articles that look at scores they’ve given and re-score albums, they’ll knock it down slightly.
I guess this is the problem when you give out only one 10/10 score a decade
Yeah sort of glad they finally released the tension haha, hopefully won’t be as long before the next one
Dammit!
Anyway it’s a shit album
Dude Ranch is a great album.
Brilliant
Hope she opens her set with a rendition of Hound Dog
