It’s pronounced like there’s an e in there that blatantly isn’t. Ex tv was from there.

The three stripes on City’s kit is from the 3 stripes on the coat of arms which are the 3 city centre rivers, the irk, the medlock and the irwell which are hidden purposefully as we primarily built up the industrial landscape around them so we could pollute them. They were known in those times as the murk, the mudlark and the inkwell as a result.
