Haven’t watched a nature democracy since that one with the twat buffalo (or whatever) running over a baby buffalo which then got eaten by lions or something.

I watched 5 minutes last night before dinner, there’s a giraffe that kicks a leopard or possibly cheetah (can’t remember which, possibly even neither) that wanted to eat it. It really sticks the hoof in, you can just see it saying to itself “here have one of these, you twat”

Sounds good. I used to work with a guy who reckoned a giraffe will attack by swinging it’s head/neck like a big golf club. Don’t suppose Atto covers this, does he?

that’s how they fight each other isn’t it, it looks comic. I’ve no idea if they do it with other animals, I’ve never seen them do it and can’t imagine it’d be all that effective. I could walk up to the zoo at lunch and ask around.

They fight each other like that. It’s pretty brutal.

When you look at enough African wildlife footage you realise that lions aren’t really the big bosses of the land, rather they’re literally a bunch of pussies. Put a lion up against a giraffe, an elephant or a hippo and it’ll run for its life if it doesn’t have its mates around to have its back.

Hippos are brutal aren’t they? I remember reading somewhere that hippos kill more people than crocodiles in areas where you find both.

I was lucky enough to spend a week in Kruger a few years back. On one of the guided tours we did the guide told us “if you ever find yourself between a hippo and water, consider yourself dead.”
