Quite like The Eel Pie. Hall and Woodhouse pub. Decent beer, good atmosphere.

The Old Ship in Mortlake is good from what I remember and right next to the river. The Cat’s Back in Putney is quite good as well.

Bricklayers in Putney is good. But you know that’s about 5 miles away from Richmond?

sorry too late but for future reference for daytime I like:

The White Swan in Twickenahm http://www.whiteswantwickenham.co.uk/ not the same as the Richmond one above, I love it

The barmy arms is also good if it’s a nice day

In Richmond I like the sun inn round the back because it’s a bit more chilled out than all the other richmond pubs, you sacrifice a view of the river or green (which are both lovely) for the more chilled out atmosphere BUT you do get a view of the adult community college which I think is actually a very beautiful building
