Just found out rotating on the spot makes you dance!

You can do them right away, you just need to get some berries and set up camp and cook

Where is the cook option, pretty sure I have berries and when I set up camp all I can do is play with the pokemon

Button prompts at the bottom, select the button called Menu

and why would you want to do anything else?!

Aaah. Are there other options there when you join someone else’s camp too? Didn’t see the point of that before.

Yeah there is. They help you cook the curry so you’re more likely to get more XP and recovery

what’s making the game more enjoyable for me is changing my team regularly so as to level up loads of the pokemon i’ve caught, rather than trying to catch the best and ditch the lower levelled versions

Was hailing when I first got there. Perfect for catching a load of ice cream pokemon.

Yeah I am really enjoying going back to the wild area with low level pokemon and levelling them whilst listening to podcasts and what not as its so effortless not having to find a way back to an early town.

The trading card part is surprisingly addictive, that and fashionmon

Do the battles get more fun or harder? I’ve done the second gym but not had a battle I would say has been enjoyable yet. I’ve had to think about type sometimes but otherwise it’s really straightforward and sometimes drawn out. Doesn’t help that I’ve been playing so much Slay the Spire recently.

Not particularly, I think the 4th gym leader I had to try more than once but that was mainly because I didn’t have any type advantages. Most pokemon games don’t have much challenge until the elite 4 and this feels a little harder than sun/moon and x/y.

The first 2 gyms are a cakewalk

3 and 4 are a bit harder all the same and your rivals get tougher as you go on. At around the level 40mark I’m finding the game steadily increasing in difficulty. Not nearly as easy at Let’s Go. Even my rivals give me a bit of a challenge now

Let’s Go was a piece of piss with an OP Eevee able to learn pretty much any move you want.

That’s good to hear, thanks!

How do you edit your league card? Do you have to go to a place?
