Yeah, usually I’m debating between two or three songs, but here it’s basically every one. It’s ridiculously consistent.

I still haven’t figured it out which is best, but it doesn’t seem as if Tillary is getting enough attention. It kind of reminds me of early Afghan Whigs.

You people are incomprehensibly moronic

Thought I was in the Pumpkins threads for a second.

What kind of person can’t see that You Without End is the best track on the Deafheaven record, TAFH33? What kind of person?!

I have to say, I can think of only one other artist capable of writing a song like that, and his influence is all over it.

Tillary is just straight up The Cure for me (not a bad thing)

Slightly off topic, but I meant to ask you way back in the Blink 182 thread - where would you start with The Cure? I’ve heard Disintegration a few times and like it, but not sure where to go next.

who

I like the idea of ten people clicking on that, genuinely wondering whom the link will reveal. Feels so innocent.

I suggest you listen to their entire discography…

Lol. Although not far from the truth - the run from their debut Three Imaginary Boys all the way through to Wish is pretty much flawless. If you’re that interested, listening to them in order is an amazing journey from a post-punk band with a serious ear for melody, through a distinctly gloomy but brillaint goth phase, via some genuinely off kilter and beautiful pop music, all the way through to a mega stadium act with massive tunes.

Otherwise, best albums aside from Disintegration are probably Faith and Pornography :+1:
