Or he had that thing where you don’t recognise faces and this is how he interpreted all the faces together (as the faces in the paintings look fairly identical to me)

They look identical, but are three separate women, painted by different people. I think he just had a face he liked, and stuck to it.

do you think there’s much likelihood of people falsely claiming to be non-straight to claim asylum? It’s probably fairly unlikely given a lot of places attitudes to queerness or whatever right? Actually, forgot I said that, not our place to debate.

that’s a bit subjective. they’re rather ornate and very long - is that what the person you’re buying them for likes? do they look like other jewellery they wear?

Good points, I mean I like them. The actual caveat on my buying earrings was “as long as they’re hippy enough” which leaves me absolutely clueless really :sweat_smile:

when i think hippy i think more beads and feathers. those might be a bit fussy for someone who likes hippy stuff. i’d think about another item of jewellery they wear and get something in the same vein
