No. It’s a low key Australian series where about six or seven people suddenly come back from the dead at a cemetery. No bells and whistles. It’s certainly watchable. Good but not amazing either.

The cross-stitched cushions came from Morocco. I used to go a fair bit when I was growing up, and my mum & aunt have been even more times, and got me the cushion covers as a gift.

Yeah the Orla Kiely duvet was from TK Maxx. I’ve got two other sets too. One of them was £20 because they weren’t sure if the pillow cases were there or not (they were, but buttoned inside the duvet?!). I wanted that pattern for ages in blue, but no way was I paying £120 for a duvet set. I’m a convert to expensive bedsheets now, but still only from TK Maxx. (Always been a sucker for nice towels).

Good towels, bedsheets and kitchenware are never excessive.

(I quite like how that makes me sound like Elizabeth Taylor, when I’m actually shopping at the reduced shelf in TK Maxx)

The kitten that came to stay last week vanished but walking home earlier somwonw had drawn his picture with the caption “awesome cat” and their number. So he’s home again 🖒

Had a terrible day today. I also have no money…so I feel like the most irresponsible/failure of a parent but on the plus side she’s still happy without proper food most of the time and doesn’t need any new clothes for a while so it’s at least at a kind of good time.

Meant to be on the radio tomorrow but fuck paying for 3 hours childcare to do free work for the BBC.
