larfing is what is needed…

I think I remember the spin off where Olive Oyl was in the army better than Popeye itself.

Also was there a spinoff about Popeyes son. Actually it could have been the same programme

Mad that there was a Popeye film and it was directed by Robert Altman and starred Robin Williams.

Underrated imho

Mad that there’s a Robert Altman Popeye film and it’s not on any streaming service and isn’t on blu ray. But it’s been on YouTube for years and Paramount/Disney haven’t taken it down

I was looking for it recently actually. Wonder if it’s some weird rights issue.

Thanks!

Mad that Nintendo trying and failing to license the characters of Popeye, Bluto and Olive Oyl led them to create Mario (Jumpman), Donkey Kong and Pauline and basically restart the gaming industry.

Is that Shelley Duval???

This post paid for by PROF$.

Love that they built a whole town for the film and its still there:

yup, Properly the best bit of casting ever.

Might see if I can get a ‘good quality legitimate download’ anywhere. This Youtube version cuts out a lot of the screen
