cooked in milk with some raisins thrown in.

Once in bowl I add some sugar and home made granola.

Oh should say any people using just water and salt are not welcome here.

Porridge season is spring summer for me, but the answer these days is always banana and peanut butter

When it becomes rolled

Flahavan’s organic jumbo oats
Almond milk (no sugars)
Teaspoon of milled flax and seeds in the porridge mix
Almond butter (pip & nut)
Sprinkle of dedicated coconut
One banana
Strawberries
Blueberries
Blackberries (if available)
Teaspoon of chia seeds on top

I started 2/3 weeks ago and went rogue by stewing apples with cinnamon and banging in a couple of spoonfuls with a minute to go in the microwave. Absolute game changer.

First porridge of the winter season today. Unplanned decision based on realising I’d run out of cereal.

Porridge Oats
50% Oat Milk, 50% Water
Handful of frozen blueberries of unknown age I found in the freezer
Tablespoon of Peanut Butter

Not too bad!

It’s always porridge season!

Jumbo oats with milk
Cooked on the hob over a low heat until it’s like cement
Teaspoon of biscoff spread stirred into it. Sometimes just golden syrup or a bit of sugar.

Pots of the instant stuff when I’m working earlies. Think the cinnamon one is my fave.

Gluten free oats, water (about 2 parts oats 3 parts water) and 1tsp of dark brown sugar

Tried some with some spicy peanut butter, was a bit weird as think I could taste lemongrass but dunno if it was my mind playing tricks on me

Been doing home made granola because I cannot stand cleaning up after making porridge.

my standard is:

whatever oats are in the cupboard
50% milk, 50% water
one banana, added with the oats and liquid
handful of chia seeds
simmer for 5-10 mins

afterwards maybe add some more seeds
peanut butter
blueberries (if we have any)
sometimes brown sugar / honey / maple syrup if I’m feeling the need

it’s good but i need time to make it before the toddler wakes up really, otherwise she’ll moan while i’m making it
