no hidden gems, no overlooked masterpieces
just Pretty Good albums you enjoy that maybe don’t get the love they deserve. Not going to change anyone’s life but they’ll make you go “yeah, i enjoyed hearing that music”

I enjoyed hearing that music.
Solo acoustic guitar from Wales but with a heavy nod to American primitivism.
got a cheap record of this a few years ago which has lead to me playing it pretty regularly - having not heard it before that since about 2015. Just a very solid 2010s indie guitar album - some krautrock repetition, some hazy jangle, with cool noisy solos breaking through now and then
also reading about them told me the singer went on to form Modern Nature, which I hadn’t realised either. TIL

Good album, I bought a copy after seeing her support Ryley Walker but don’t stick it on often enough, good album to work to. Definite 7/10.
Latin tinged indie stuff. I dunno, i’m shit at describing guitar music. Or any music actually.
It’s definitely a pretty good album, though.

Reeeeally regret not playing ‘Bodies’ from this in the hypnotic grooves round in last ML
Also for those who don’t know it’s 11 songs not 21
The title track stunk up the repetition round back in the day when i tried it ![]()
